Victorian Side Return

By opening up and combining the existing rooms of this Bristol property with a new extension, utilising the unused side return, we were able to help our clients realise their dream of an open plan kitchen, dining and living space, with separate utility room and downstairs toilet. The property has been completely transformed and is now a light, bright, multifunctional space that suits modern living and capitalises on the south facing aspect.

This 1900s terraced property still had its original layout, with the rear of the property subdivided into several small, damp and dark rooms. We worked closely with our clients and architect, to create a modern, open plan side-return extension maximising the properties potential.

Features – Open plan living, side return new build, birch ply and formica worktops, structural steel frame, utility, downstairs toilet, bespoke storage, built in bar, roof works, underfloor heating, aluminum picture window and sliding doors, cedar cladding, flexible render and an outdoor to indoors flush threshold.

“The extension has completely transformed the way we live in our home, we couldn’t be happier with what the team achieved and how much they cared about our vision from start to finish.” – Emily
