1930s Remodel

Our clients longed to transform their 1930s galley kitchen and dining area into a flexible living space for their growing family. They approached Cotswold Design to turn their open plan dream into a reality. Our architect produced a scheme to remove the main dividing structural wall, install breath taking panoramic sliding doors and relocate the kitchen towards the heart of the house.

The Cotswold Design construction team installed a steel frame, lowered the internal floors to create lofty ceiling heights and a sweeping transition into the garden. The young family are now able to walk, crawl and totter out onto their new terrace, extending their living space out into the garden beyond.

Features - Bespoke sprayed kitchen doors and drawers by Arlberry (link to their website ), open plan living, kitchen relocation, porcelain paved outdoor terrace, sliding aluminium doors, underfloor heating and skylight installation.
